One to One Teaching Assistant Required

Due to a new child with an Educational Health care Plan joining us, we are looking to appoint an experienced one to one teaching assistant to support a child with autism in our Reception class.

Level 3a pt 15-18: 30 hours per week, term time only plus training days.

Salary range: £17,972-£18,870 pro rata

The ideal candidate for the post will:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years being a teaching assistant within a primary setting and ideally in the Early Years
  • Have worked 1:1 with children with specific learning, physical and social needs associated with the child
  • Be a good team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Have high expectations of pupil behaviour
  • Contribute to the ethos of a friendly, happy school, in which the personal development and well-being is given the highest priority and where both academic and personal qualities of children are recognised and valued.

The Governing Body at Cotton End Primary School will be very pleased to hear from anyone

Or anyone who has an interest in raising standards

Interested persons are asked to take time to get to know the school, attend monthly

meetings and a willingness to attend Borough Governor training at Borough Hall

(evenings 7pm – 9pm) ) and fully support the school in their expansion venture.

Would possibly suit retired persons with a wealth of knowledge and skills
